In general the service was excellent. There were very good internet and private parking available. The location was IDEAL, really close to beautiful shops, eateries, the castle and the sea. It also was to Dundee centre.

The room was comfy and with extremely comfy beds. Short walk from a ferry port, the location was magnificent and lovely, in a lovely area with lovely hosts. Besides, the hotel was 3 km away from Dawson Park.

We had spacious and heated rooms with large bathroom and the staff were amiable.

The excellent and great breakfast had plenty of meals and the food I tasted was great. The room was heated and en suite with a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets in the private bathroom.

Enjoyed the family room I had with comfy bed as well as internet access.

This hotel was the perfect choice for our first visit to Broughty Ferry. The location was just perfect as we like to walk into town, and it was only a very short walk from the beach and town centre. The room we stayed in was really nice, spacious, and clean. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of blankets. We also loved the large television in the room and the selection of DVD's available. The bathroom was spotless, and we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh towels the next day. The check-in and checkout process was great, and the hosts Darren and Margaret were really nice. We will definitely be coming back here and have great memories of our stay at this hotel.

Nice and friendly owner and willing to help. For example, I had a flat car tire. He helped me to fix this in heavy rain so could catch my plain in time. Nice breakfast.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ashley House Guest House. This charming guest house offered incredible value for our money. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large bathroom, comfortable seating, and a full freeview TV. The owner provided us with great local advice, which enhanced our experience exploring the nearby castle, harbor, and riverside beach. The little town of Broughty Ferry had plenty of dining options and convenient stores, ensuring we lacked nothing during our stay. The overall attention to detail and personal touches made Ashley House stand out from generic chain hotels.
